KUC’s concern on environment
Forth Coming Program on 13th December

• Fair Trade Day – Local “Green” Products” go on sale at 12:00
A fair trade event in KUC, co-organised with the Hong Kong Christian Institute will be held in KUC. Organic vegetables from Hong Miu Organic Vegetables, steamed buns and soybean sticks produced by Organic Life and eco-soap produced by Green Women Cooperatives will be sold. The Bethune House will sell Christmas cards made by their clients. KUC’s organic farm group will present pictures of the organic farm project. The Fair trade day is part of KUC’s mission to promote justice and peace for and with the earth.

• 'Awakening the Dreamer' Symposium from 2:30 to 4:30 pm
The 'Awakening the Dreamer' Symposium explores the current state of our planet from a new perspective. It is designed to broaden our awareness regarding how we live with our environment, our neighbours and ourselves - and inspires us to come up with hope, courage and compassion to treat our environment, our neighbours and ourselves in a sustainable, fulfilling and just way.
